The main character in this story belonging to Greek mythology is Prometheus. Prometheus is half god and half man. He is immortal like gods and arrogant like humans.

He stole fire from the gods and gifted it to humanity. Fire is a divine secret and the gods do not want humanity to reach this secret. Fennel stalk is a fast burning plant. Prometheus succeeded in stealing fire from the gods in the sky with the fennel stalk. And this helped to speed up the civilisation process of humanity. However, Prometheus was punished by Zeus for stealing this secret.

Fennel from the Apiaceae family is a medicinal plant. This plant, which is rich in vitamins A and C, contains important minerals such as potassium, sodium, magnesium and calcium.

It usually grows in regions with Mediterranean climate. It is possible to grow in many parts of our country. It has a unique smell.
