STRETCH MARKS ON THE BODY

Body stretch marks, also known as pregnancy stretch marks (stria gravidarum), is a skin problem that makes most people uncomfortable. Visible deterioration occurs on the skin due to the breakage of elastin and collagen fibres in the layer between the epidermis and hypodermis layers called dermis, which is one of the 3 layers that make up our skin, and weakening of the bonds between them. It is especially observed to occur after the pregnancy period. During pregnancy, the skin is highly stretched due to various reasons, so cracks may occur in the belly, inner legs and breasts.

Other reasons are known as rapid and excessive weight gain and loss.

There are stages in the formation of stretch marks, as in every problem. For a faster and more effective treatment, the first stage of stretch marks is more suitable. In this period, the colour of the cracks is between red-purple and more superficial.

Although it is not a serious problem, it is an appearance that people are uncomfortable with. However, although there are various treatment methods, it is not possible to completely get rid of the appearance of stretch marks. It is possible to reduce the appearance with various operations or cream applications.

Anti-stretch marks creams can be effective when used regularly. However, it should not be forgotten that no method alone will bring a complete result.

So which ingredients are useful for the crack cream to be effective?

Wheat Germ Extract (Triticum vulgare extract): Wheat germ extract prevents the skin from cracking and drying out thanks to its skin moisturising properties. Thanks to the antioxidants it contains, it helps to prevent the formation of stretch marks in the body.

Almond Extract (Prunus amygdalus extract): Moisturises the skin and prevents the formation of stretch marks. It makes the existing stretch marks less apparent and evens out the skin tone.

Avocado Extract (Persea americana extract): Deeply moisturises the skin, prevents dry skin and helps prevent the formation of stretch marks.

Grape Seed Extract (Vitis vinifera seed extract): Moisturises the skin and prevents dryness and cracking on the skin.
