There are flower clusters on the flower stalks. In the drop-shaped flowers, the capitulum is yellow and the petals are white. May Chamomile, which is a very thin and skinny plant, grows 30-50 cm tall and its flowers are harvested in May.

It contains 0.3-1.5% essential oil and is more abundant in the flowers of the plant. The main components of the essential oil are bisabolol oxide A (20-33%) and B (8-12%).
