The leaves of the rosemary plant are thin, long and needle-shaped, dark green on the upper surface and greyish on the lower surface. The leaves have an intense aromatic odour. Rosemary flowers are small, blue, pink, or white in color, and are found in clusters at the tips of the branches Flowers usually bloom in spring and summer. The stem of the plant is woody and erect. It usually grows between 1-2 metres tall. The root system of the rosemary plant is strong and deep, which increases its drought resistance. Rosemary prefers well-drained soils and plenty of sunlight.
