Glycyrrhiza glabra, commonly known as Liquorice Root, is a perennial plant belonging to the Fabaceae family. Each pod contains several seeds. The most important part of the plant, the roots, are thick and woody. It grows well in temperate and warm climates. It grows more efficiently in sunny areas.
