It is not damaged by cold and frost. Light textured and water-repellent soils are very suitable for black elderberry. There must be water for the cultivation of the plant; Without irrigation, elderberry cultivation cannot be done. Production in the plant is practically made with steel. The seedlings obtained from the cuttings planted in the rooting medium are planted in the spring in March- April. Planting density can be made as 300x300 cm or 400x300 cm. Approximately 100-120 saplings are planted per decare. Black elderberry seedlings are growing very fast. Plants begin to bloom and bear fruit 1 year after planting. However, it takes 4 years to fully yield. Fresh fruit yield per plant is 15-20 kg, dry fruit yield is 3-4 kg. Thus, 2000 kg of fresh and 400 kg of dried fruit can be obtained per decare.
